FRANKFURT —S tarting summer 2024, European travelers can journey directly to San Antonio, Texas, courtesy of German leisure airline, Condor. The airline is slated to provide non-stop flights thrice a week — on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays — between May and September.

Significantly, this inclusion marks Texas's debut on Condor's route map and positions Condor as the sole carrier offering a direct connection between Europe and San Antonio. The airline promises a premier travel experience with the cutting-edge Airbus A330neo aircraft, where passengers can revel in the utmost comfort, benefit from the newest in-flight technologies, and enjoy a highly efficient journey.

Ralf Teckentrup, Condor's CEO, remarked on the new venture: "Given North America's charm among tourists, we are excited to diversify our flight offerings for the summer of 2024. San Antonio, Texas, is a notable entrant to our expanded flight catalog, and it's noteworthy that we are pioneering the direct route from Europe."

San Antonio, nestled in south-central Texas, is renowned for its unique confluence of German, Spanish, and American cultures. Tourists can immerse themselves in the vibrant arts and diversified gastronomy along the River Walk. Additionally, the nearby Texas Hill Country, rising in prominence as a wine-producing locale, invites visitors with a plethora of hiking and biking trails.

In a move to augment its 2024 summer offerings, Condor has also integrated Miami, Florida, with three weekly services. Not stopping there, the airline rekindles its connection to Calgary, Alberta, with bi-weekly flights.
