DENVER, COLORADO — The American ultra-low-cost carrier Frontier Airlines took the delivery of one new Airbus A321neo aircraft from the Irish lessor Aviation Capital Group on a long-term lease.

The aircraft is the first of seven A321neos delivered to Frontier from ACG's orderbook with Airbus. Powered by the highly efficient Pratt & Whitney GTF engines. The arrival of the A321neo marks a significant milestone for the airline and comes with a special surprise - the aircraft will showcase a brand-new livery featuring "Ozzy the Orca" on its tail.

Frontier Airlines operates an all-Airbus fleet, including 14 A320ceo, 21A321ceo, 82 A320neo, and six A321neo. The airline also has 18 A321XLR, the extra-long-range variant of the A320neo Family, on order with deliveries from 2026.
