LAS VEGAS, NEVADAA Sun Country Airlines Boeing 737 aircraft experienced a landing gear collapse at Las Vegas on Feb. 4.

The flight from Harry Reid International Airport to MSP returned to Las Vegas shortly after takeoff. Upon landing, the aircraft’s right landing gear collapsed and caused the aircraft to stop on the runway.

There were no immediate reports of any injuries.

Photos show that the aircraft tilted sharply to its right side with a crumpled wing and damaged engine.

“We will work with the NTSB to fully investigate this incident to understand what happened,” the airline management said.

It wasn't revealed why the plane had to return to the Las Vegas airport.
