AUSTIN, TEXAS —  The British leisure operator Virgin Atlantic is launching new direct flights to Austin. It is the airline’s first new route to the US since 2015.



The four times a week service will launch on 25th May 2022 and will be operated with the airline’s Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners offering 31 Business Class, 35 Premium, and 192 Economy seats.

Austin is the fourth most populated city in the US, with 29 million residents and 7.7million passengers traveling through the airport in 2019.

Virgin Atlantic will also offer 20 tonnes of cargo capacity on each flight.
