LUXEMBOURGLuxembourg's worldwide cargo operator Cargolux is in talks with Airbus about a potential A350F order.

Cargolux's current fleet comprises B747 freighters only. The company operates six B747-400(ERF)s, seven B747-400(FSCD)s, and fourteen B747-8Fs.

In late 2020, the airline intended to order B777-300(ER)(SF)s, which would become its first converted aircraft, but, no such deal has been made so far.

Airbus recently announced the A350F program and secured a tentative order commitment from CMA CGM Air Cargo, which is due to become the type's launch operator if the order is finalized.

On the other hand, Boeing has yet to confirm if it would launch a B777X freighter program and already offered the aircraft to Qatar Airways and Lufthansa.

A Cargolux spokesperson confirmed it has been analyzing offers from both manufacturers.
