ITA Airways has marked a significant enhancement in its fleet capabilities with the arrival of its first Airbus A321neo, leased from Air Lease Corporation. The aircraft, sourced from Airbus' production line in Hamburg, represents a strategic step in the airline's commitment to an all-Airbus fleet. Currently, ITA Airways operates 81 aircraft, including the latest generation models such as the A220, A320neo, A330neo, and A350.

Designed to cater to the airline’s medium-haul routes, the new A321neo boasts a three-class cabin configuration. It features 12 Business Class seats offering full flat beds and direct aisle access, 12 Premium Economy seats arranged in a 4-abreast layout, and 141 Economy seats, with 12 specifically allocated for Comfort Economy. Enhancing the in-flight experience, the A321neo incorporates Airbus' Airspace cabin design, which includes extra-large overhead bins and customized interior lighting based on cutting-edge full-LED technologies aimed at reducing jet lag.
