ITA Airways Welcomes Airbus A321neo to its Modern Fleet

ITA Airways has marked a significant enhancement in its fleet capabilities with the arrival of its first Airbus A321neo, leased from Air Lease Corporation. The aircraft, sourced from Airbus' production line in Hamburg, represents a strategic step in the airline's commitment to an all-Airbus fleet. Currently, ITA Airways operates 81 aircraft, including the latest generation models such as the A220, A320neo, A330neo, and A350.

Cabin Innovations and Route Deployment

Designed to cater to the airline’s medium-haul routes, the new A321neo boasts a three-class cabin configuration. It features 12 Business Class seats offering full flat beds and direct aisle access, 12 Premium Economy seats arranged in a 4-abreast layout, and 141 Economy seats, with 12 specifically allocated for Comfort Economy. Enhancing the in-flight experience, the A321neo incorporates Airbus' Airspace cabin design, which includes extra-large overhead bins and customized interior lighting based on cutting-edge full-LED technologies aimed at reducing jet lag. Additionally, each seat is outfitted with the latest generation in-flight entertainment system, complete with individual screens and a selection of on-demand content.
