ABU DHABI — Etihad Airways, UAE's flag carrier, is expanding its wings in North America, unveiling a new route between Abu Dhabi and Boston scheduled to start on March 31, 2024. This move comes as the latest addition to the airline’s North American itinerary, which already features services to Chicago, Washington, New York, and Toronto.

"We eagerly anticipate the arrival of guests from the American Northeast and beyond," expressed Antonoaldo Neves, CEO of Etihad Airways. "Launching the Boston route not only introduces travelers to the wonders of Abu Dhabi but also connects them to our expanding global network."

This connection to Boston won’t just benefit direct travelers; the airline also intends to offer passengers broader options. Thanks to its codeshare partnership with jetBlue, those flying with Etihad will have seamless connectivity to several cities across North America.

The flights to Boston will take to the skies four times a week—every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday—utilizing the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner for the route.

In related news, Etihad Airways recently celebrated the return of its Airbus A380, reintroducing it to service after a hiatus caused by the pandemic. On July 25, this iconic superjumbo resumed operations with flight EY11 from Abu Dhabi to London’s Heathrow airport. Currently, London remains the sole destination served by Etihad’s A380 fleet.
