Atlas Air has acquired a Boeing 777-200 Freighter as part of their pre-established long-term ACMI arrangement to operate on behalf of the MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company.

This new acquisition is the second of four Boeing 777-200 Freighters that Atlas Air will manage for MSC.

GENEVA — Atlas Air, a branch of Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings, confirmed the acquisition of a Boeing 777-200 Freighter. This delivery is part of an earlier-disclosed long-term ACMI (aircraft, crew, maintenance, insurance) arrangement where Atlas Air will operate on behalf of MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company.

MSC, the world’s foremost shipping company, has expanded its global reach by offering services to key destinations like Mexico City (NLU), Indianapolis (IND), Liege (LGG), Seoul (ICN), and Xiamen (XMN). The newly-acquired Boeing 777-200 Freighter is the second of four that Atlas Air is scheduled to manage for MSC, enhancing the current weekly service provided by the air carrier.
