Lynx Air is set to begin nonstop services from Tampa to Toronto and Montreal in November.

The flights to these Canadian destinations will operate on Sundays, Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays.

This partnership marks the first Canadian airline to introduce new services to Tampa International since the pandemic.

TAMPA — Tampa International Airport (TIA) is set to expand its reach to Canadian destinations through a partnership with Lynx Air, an emerging ultra-low-cost carrier. This collaboration will initiate direct flights from Tampa to Toronto Pearson International Airport starting Nov. 16, and to Montreal-Pierre Trudeau International Airport from Nov. 17. These services will be available four times a week - Sundays, Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays.

In a statement, TPA's CEO, Joe Lopano, expressed the airport's enthusiasm over the addition of Lynx Air, highlighting its significance as the first Canadian airline to inaugurate new routes to TPA post-pandemic. Lopano emphasized the deep ties between Tampa Bay and its Canadian counterparts, noting their pivotal role in the region's tourism, real estate, and foreign investments. Through this partnership, Tampa aims to further strengthen these bonds and showcase the myriad of opportunities available in the region.
