MISSISSAUGA, ONTARIO — Canada Jetlines announced that it had signed a letter of intent for a third Airbus A320 aircraft, which will be supplied by a global aviation lessor. The aircraft is expected to be delivered by July 2023.

Canada Jetlines CEO, Eddy Doyle, expressed satisfaction with securing the third aircraft, noting that the high demand for the summer season will be met by the additional plane, supporting existing customers and the company's growth plans.

The Airbus A320-200, bearing the manufacturer's serial number #3312, features two CFM56-5B4/3 engines. The cabin will be outfitted with new Recaro 3530 seats, in-seat USB power, and a personal electronic device holder. Additionally, the Flymingo Box system will be installed, providing passengers with wireless inflight entertainment for an enhanced experience.

The aircraft's delivery is subject to standard conditions, including the finalization of a definitive aircraft lease agreement and a satisfactory inspection by the company.
