TORONTO, ONTARIO — Porter Airlines announced today the launch of three new routes from Ottawa International Airport, connecting passengers to Boston, New York-Newark, and Thunder Bay.

These new routes are part of the airline's larger expansion efforts in Ottawa, which include the construction of new maintenance hangars at the airport, intended to service Porter's E195-E2 fleet.

As the only carrier offering daily, year-round direct flights from Ottawa to Boston and Thunder Bay, Porter is filling a unique niche in the market.

Utilizing 78-seat De Havilland Dash 8-400 aircraft, travelers on these new routes will enjoy the airline's renowned hospitality, premium onboard services, and complimentary beer and wine served in glassware.

In addition to the non-stop flights, several one-stop connecting routes have been established. Porter now operates eight non-stop routes from Ottawa International Airport, with plans to add Charlottetown as the ninth destination on May 17th.
