FRANKFURT, GERMANY — Lufthansa has announced that its latest aircraft, the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, will be flying to additional destinations in the US and Canada with the start of the summer flight schedule.

Starting this summer, Lufthansa's Dreamliner will have a busy schedule in North America, with several new destinations added to its itinerary. Beginning on March 26th, the Dreamliner will fly six times a week from Frankfurt to Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas. The airline will also offer four weekly flights to Montreal, Canada, which will increase to daily flights on May 1st. Additionally, starting in early May, the Dreamliner will fly daily to Denver, Colorado, and three times a week to Austin, Texas. On February 13th, Lufthansa will begin serving Detroit, Michigan, with the Dreamliner. The airline has been flying daily to Newark since October of last year.

Lufthansa is expanding its fleet of Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners, with two more of the aircraft set to join the existing three in the near future. Passengers on the Dreamliner can look forward to a vastly improved travel experience thanks to a number of impressive features. The cabin is incredibly quiet, and the lighting system adjusts throughout the day for maximum comfort. The increased height of the cabin gives a feeling of spaciousness, and the large windows can be easily adjusted for optimal viewing. Business Class guests will also enjoy the improved seating, which includes direct aisle access.

Lufthansa's state-of-the-art Dreamliner is setting new standards in fuel efficiency and environmental friendliness. On average, the aircraft consumes 30% less kerosene per passenger per 100 kilometers traveled compared to its predecessors, using just 2.5 liters per passenger. As part of its commitment to sustainability, the Lufthansa Group has plans to receive a total of 32 new Boeing 787-9s by 2027.
