ISTANBUL, TURKEY — Wizz Air has announced the launch of new direct flights to Istanbul, Antalya, and Dalaman, set to commence in March 2023. The routes will connect Turkey with Hungary, Romania, the UAE, and the UK.

After a seven-year absence, Wizz Air is returning to Istanbul and introducing four additional point-to-point services to Budapest, London Gatwick, London Luton, and Iasi, with the earliest departure set for March.

The airline will be the first ultra-low-cost carrier to operate out of Istanbul Airport and will offer over 400,000 low-fare seats to cities across Europe. Additionally, Wizz Air's commitment to low emissions and sustainable operations will support Istanbul Airport in achieving its sustainability goals, as the airline will operate modern and eco-friendly Airbus A321neo aircraft.
