SAO PAULO, BRAZIL — Embraer, the Brazilian aircraft manufacturer, has announced it has received an order for 15 E195-E2 jets from an undisclosed customer.

The order is valued at $1.17 billion and will be added to the company's full-year total for 2022. As of the end of its most recent third quarter, Embraer had a total of 227 orders for the E195-E2, with 39 of them having been delivered.

The E195-E2 is equipped with Pratt & Whitney PW1900G engines, similar to the E190-E2. However, the company had a backlog of only three E190-E2s at the third-quarter mark, compared to 188 E195-E2s. Additionally, Embraer still has over 100 previous-generation E175 jets yet to be delivered.
