AUCKLAND, NEW ZEALAND — Air New Zealand is partnering with the Spanish charter carrier Wamos Air to operate the airline's Perth-Auckland route between 15 November 2022 and 16 February 2023 to meet demand during the summer season.


Wamos Air will operate daily return flights between Perth and Auckland on behalf of Air New Zealand to provide schedule stability and certainty for the carrier's customers over this period.

"We know customers look forward to our world-renowned service and will miss seeing the Koru on the aircraft tail, so we've carefully considered how to best maintain connectivity and maintain a high service standard,"

said the airline in a statement.

"Wamos Air is a proven and trusted provider, and we're confident they will deliver to our high standards of customer care. All customers on these flights, regardless of fare purchased, will be offered our Air New Zealand meal and beverages service and enjoy Inflight Entertainment."

  • A 280-seat Airbus A330-200 aircraft, flying daily services between Perth and Auckland from 15 November 2022 to 16 February 2023.
  • The same Air New Zealand customer service agents at the Airport check-in and gate.
  • A two-class configuration of 20 lie-flat Business Premier™ seats and 260 Economy seats.
  • A full Air New Zealand meal and beverage service in all cabins.
  • The ability to request a full refund or put their airfare into credit if they no longer wish to travel during this period.
