JAKARTA, INDONESIA — The Turkish Airlines (THY) Istanbul-Jakarta flight made an emergency landing in Medan after a passenger attacked the cabin crew. The passenger on flight TK56 first argued with other passengers and then attacked the cabin crew.


An airline spokesperson said the plane made an emergency landing in Medan, Indonesia, while the troubled passenger was taken under control by the cabin crew. After the passenger was handed over to the security teams, the B777 aircraft took off again and completed its Jakarta flight.
