ARLINGTON, VIRGINIA — Boeing today announced its 3rd-quarter deliveries. According to the company's press release, deliveries increased in September to 51, while orders rose by 90 as the planemaker continues to see robust demand for new aircraft.


The 50-plane threshold was surpassed by Boeing for the first time since March 2019. After a 15-month delay, Boeing commenced deliveries of the 787 Dreamliner jets in August, increasing deliveries to 35 aircraft the same month.

Last month, Boeing received 51 new orders for its 737 MAX Family jets and 45 new widebody orders, including 14 777s. In September, Boeing delivered 14 widebody planes, including seven 787s. Boeing currently has 4354 firm orders and order commitments in its backlog. The American airframer has delivered 328 airplanes in the first nine months of 2022, including 267 737 MAXs.
