DUBLIN, IRELAND — Irish regional airline operator Emerald Airlines adds two more ATR 72-600 aircraft to its fleet. The turboprop planes are delivered to the airline by German aircraft lessor GOAL on long-term lease agreements.

The first aircraft joined the Irish fleet on August 25. The second aircraft arrived in Dublin on September 23. Both aircraft are owned by KGAL APF 4, an independent investment and asset manager with headquarters in Germany. The leasing operations of the aircraft are managed by GOAL Aircraft Leasing.

Emerald Airlines began commercial operations in February 2022 with an all ATR 72-600 fleet and currently operates fourteen aircraft of the same type. In August 2021, the carrier signed an agreement with Aer Lingus to operate as the regional subsidiary of the Irish flag carrier.
