ISTANBUL, TURKEY — Turkey's national carrier sent a notification to the Istanbul Stock Exchange that it has agreed with Airbus for the purchase of six more A350-900 widebody aircraft that will be delivered between 2022 and 2023.

Turkish Airlines has 20 A350-900s on order directly from the European planemaker, of which six have already been delivered.

Airbus registered orders for 743 A350-900s in total as of the end of April, including 20 copies for Aeroflot, which is still shown on the manufacturer's backlog.
