MOSCOW, RUSSIA — Russia's S7 Airlines will take over several Il-96 and Il-86 cargo planes to operate country-wide cargo operations, Russian Transportation Minister Vitaly Savelyev said during a Federation Council committee meeting on economic policy.


"Now S7 is under my patronage," said Savelyev. As part of this new situation, the airline will include five cargo aircraft, including two Il-96 and three Il-86 cargo aircraft.
