RIGA, LATVIALatvian airline airBaltic announces that it has made a decision to leave the Russian market until further notice and cancel all of the planned flights to and from Russian destinations.


“We have made a decision to leave the Russian market,” Air Baltic chief executive Martin Gauss wrote on Twitter today.

This decision follows the previous announcement of the temporary flight suspension. Air Baltic has bases in other Baltic countries Estonia and Lithuania that have borders with Russia.
