OSLO, NORWAYNorse Atlantic Airways has entered into an agreement with Widerøe Ground Handling for ground services at Oslo Airport, including passenger check-in, luggage, and aircraft parking for Norse Atlantic Airways' flights to the USA.

Norse is a new Norwegian airline, which will offer low-cost long-haul flights to the US from the spring of 2022. The airline's fleet comprises 15 Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner jets. The first flights to the US will take off from Oslo Airport. The company will gradually expand its offer to include flights between France, the UK, and the US.

With this new agreement, Widerøe Ground Handling will invest in new ground equipment that is necessary for the loading and unloading operations with containers. The focus of the investments will be green technologies. The electrified equipment will be the first choice to ensure that WGH adapts to an environmentally friendly ground service overtime where net-zero emissions are the goal.
