PIARCO, TRINIDAD AND TOBAGOLast week, Caribbean Airlines has received its fourth Boeing 737 MAX 8 jet at the Boeing's Renton plant in Seattle, Washington.



The aircraft with registration 9Y-BAR arrived at the Piarco International Airport around 10 pm on Thursday, Feb. 24th. Airline's new 737 MAX jet will undergo testing before starting commercial flights on Caribbean routes.

Caribbean Airlines' third Boeing 737-8 has just entered into commercial service after undergoing several weeks. The aircraft registered 9Y-ANT operated its first flight on Feb. 26 between Piarco International Airport, Trinidad, Cheddi Jagan International Airport, Guyana, and JFK.

The airline expects to add eight more Boeing 737 MAX 8 to its fleet in the coming months. Along with its MAX jets, CAL also operates 8 Boeing 737-800 and seven ATR 72-600
