Silver Airways leases two ATR 72-600 from TrueNoord

FORT LAUDERDALE, TEXASThe American regional airline operator Silver Airways leased two new ATR 42-600 aircraft from Amsterdam-based lessor TrueNoord.

The lessor delivered an ATR 72-600 to Silver Airways in May 2021.

The placement of these aircraft increases TrueNoord’s North American footprint and we look forward to further developing our activity in the region this year. This also marks the first ATR42-600s in the TrueNoord fleet and we are enthusiastic about acquiring more of these modern, fuel-efficient regional aircraft in the future,” Garry Topp, TrueNoord Sales Director – Americas, said.

Delivered to Silver Airways on a long-term operating lease, the aircraft will be operated on the routes to the south-eastern USA, the Bahamas, and the Caribbean.
