HANOI, VIETNAMIn celebration of the 10th anniversary of its first flight on Christmas Day, Vietnam's budget carrier Vietjet welcomed its first wide-body aircraft, an Airbus A330, on Dec. 25.

The A330-300, registered as VN-A811 with a soft and iridescent golden silk strip livery, landed at Tan Son Nhat International Airport in the morning with jubilant activities. The soft golden silk strip symbolizes the cultural quintessence of Vietnam and Asia generally.

It images the shape of the mountains and the rivers alongside the countries and conveys the pride of the oriental region’s legendary cultures. The unique livery also expresses the connection between the traditional and the modern between the East and West cultures and among the countries and the people around the world.

Equipped with comfortable and spacious leather seats, along with 12 business class seats in a quiet cabin and 365 economy seats, Vietjet’s new aircraft is also a part of Vietjet’s ongoing commitment to modernize its fleet and expand its network.
