SANA'A, YEMEN — Yemeni flag carrier Yemenia confirmed plans to take delivery of one new Airbus A330-200 shortly, with further fleet acquisitions expected to follow.



The new plane is expected to support a significant demand surge for air travel in the country and is part of the carrier's ongoing fleet expansion strategy. Yemenia chairman Ahmed Masoud Al-Alwani also stated the carrier is preparing to ramp up commercial operations, in line with the planned fleet expansion.
