DUBLIN, IRELANDIrish flag carrier Aer Lingus has resumed Dublin-Washington flights even though US travel restrictions remain in place. The airline now is flying this route four times weekly.

In addition to Washington, Aer Lingus also flies to Boston, Chicago, and New York JFK, but the airline is still well off its pre-pandemic route network.

Peter O'Neill, Chief Operating Officer at Aer Lingus, said the airline is delighted to reconnect communities and economies.

"Safety remains our priority at Aer Lingus and we continue to implement measures such as mask requirements and additional cleaning, as has been in practice across the airline for the past year. We are also committed to making the flight experience as comfortable as possible and customers can enjoy our in-flight food, drink, and entertainment services on board," ONeill also quoted.

Aer Lingus offers highly competitive fares in both Business Class and Economy Class on its transatlantic services operating from Dublin.
