DUBAI, UAELow-cost carrier flydubai completed the sale and leaseback of two Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft with the Dubai-based aircraft leasing company Novus Aviation Capital.



The planes were delivered to flydubai at the end of June 2021.

“we would like to thank the team at Novus Aviation Capital for the support that they have extended to us for the sale and leaseback for the two Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft delivered in June. Sale and leaseback is integral to our financing strategy and although this is the first transaction that we have completed together we hope that there will be an opportunity to do more in the future,” Ghaith Al Ghaith, Chief Executive Officer of flydubai said.
