REYKJAVIK, ICELANDIceland's new airline Play unveiled its first aircraft with the carrier's distinctive all-red livery.



The aircraft with registration TF-AEW is an Airbus A321neo and equipped with CFM International Leap-1A engines.

The Reykjavik-based startup is expected to launch commercial flights in June.

Play will initially offer seven routes from Reykjavik to London Stansted, Berlin Brandenburg, Paris Charles de Gaulle, Copenhagen, Barcelona, Alicante, and Tenerife.

The airline also plans to launch flights to destinations in North America next year.
