Picture: Cargolux B747 -8F collides with the Southwest B737-700 at Chicago-O'Hare International

CHICAGO, ILLINOIS — Cargolux Boeing 747 -8F (LX-VCE) departing from Chicago-O'Hare International Airport (ORD), collided with Southwest Airlines Boeing 737-700 (N218WN) on Tarmac on June 19, 2021.

The pictures of the incident reveal that the collision was between the wings of the two aircraft.

Cargolux cargo flight CV9796 was about to take off from Chicago-O'Hare International Airport to Luxembourg-Findel Airport (LUX) when the incident happened. Southwest Airlines flight WN2750 had just landed at Chicago-O'Hare International Airport and was waiting for its gates to open up.
