BANGKOK, THAILAND — Patee Sarasin, the former CEO of Nok Air, is launching a new airline in Thailand. Sarasin unveiled the new venture at an event held in Bangkok. The airline named "Really Cool Airlines" has yet to reveal its fleet and route strategies.

The ownership structure, investors, and business model of the startup carrier currently remain undisclosed.

Images released by the carrier display a blue and white Airbus A350-900 adorned with the livery of Really Cool Airlines. The aircraft's front fuselage showcases a pair of headphones while a pair of wraparound sunglasses surround the cockpit. The livery's appearance implies that the airline intends to concentrate on serving Thailand's leisure industry.

Patee Sarasin founded the budget airline Nok in 2004 and served as its chief executive for 13 years until he resigned in September 2017. Although Nok experienced significant success in its early years, Sarasin acknowledged that the landscape altered significantly following the airline's initial public offering in 2013. The IPO overlapped the substantial expansion of Thai AirAsia and Thai Lion Air.

New Bangkok-based airline's motto is "We Fly the Future."
