SYDNEY — Delta Air Lines will increase the frequency of its nonstop service between Sydney International Airport (SYD) and Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) beginning March 8, 2021.

The route will operate six times per week with Delta's flagship Airbus 350-900 aircraft, featuring Delta One suites, Delta Premium Select, and Main Cabin services.

Delta's flight schedule remains subject to change due to the evolving nature of COVID-19, customer demand and government travel regulations. Delta is the North American launch customer for the A350-900, which redefines the international onboard experience with the award-winning Delta One suites, the new Delta Premium Select cabin and the Main Cabin.

The Delta One Suites offer up to 32 customers a private, personal experience, with a full-height door at every suite for enhanced privacy and comfort. Each suite features a fully flat-bed seat with direct aisle access, as well as more stowage for personal items, larger in-flight entertainment screens and memory foam enhanced comfort cushions.

Designed with comfort in mind, Delta Premium Select offers more personal space with up to 38 inches of pitch, seat width of 18.5 inches, seven inches of recline and adjustable leg and headrests. Customers in all cabins can enjoy free mobile messaging via iMessage, WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger to stay connected with people on the ground and exchange real-time messages in flight. The long-range Airbus A350 first flew to Sydney on October 25, 2020, and continues Delta's optimization of its Pacific network, operating primarily on long-range transpacific routes.
