SYDNEYIn celebration of Australia Day, Rex Airlines conducted a flypast over Sydney Harbour and its beaches with one of its Boeing 737-800NG’s sporting its new Rex livery.

At approximately 10:15 am local, the Rex 737 flew at 1500ft over the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge and past the Opera House from the east and then conducted a reversal turn to the west of the Harbour Bridge. The 737 will then made another pass over the Harbour Bridge and tracked east over water to Sydney Heads before making its run along the northern beaches.

“It’s a great honour for Rex to be taking part in our national celebrations," Rex Deputy Chairman.

The aircraft is one of the Boeing 737-800NGs that Rex will be using when it launches its Sydney to Melbourne services on March 1. Rex will add Queensland to its network after Easter.
