MANCHESTER — Today, the last Virgin Atlantic Boeing 747-400 left the airline's fleet. The jumbojet took off from Manchester Airport at 9 am local time and headed to Tel Aviv.
The aircraft registered G-VXLG was delivered to the British operator in September 1988, and christened as ‘Ruby Tuesday’.
The 22-year-old aircraft became the last Boeing 747 to leave the airline's fleet marking the end of an era for Virgin.#
