KARACHIPakistani budget airline SereneAir plans to launch international flights to Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in January 2021 as the carrier recently secured permission for its new routes from the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority.

SereneAir has been operating domestic flights since 2017. According to Pakistani law, an airline has to fly within the country for at least a year before expanding into foreign markets.

The airline added the fourth Boeing 737-800 and its first Airbus A330-200 to boost its expansion. It also intends to add two A330-200s soon. SereneAir will serve Jeddah and Riyadh in Saudi Arabia, and Dubai International and Sharjah in the UAE.
