TOULOUSEEuropean planemaker Airbus delivered 64 aircraft in November, bringing the total number of delivered jets so far this year to 477. It is down 34% compared to the first 11 months of 2019.
Deliveries included seven A350 jets and 56 A320neo family jets.

The manufacturer is expected to reach 550 or more aircraft deliveries by year-end, including as many as seven A350s and more than 50 A320neo jets.

November’s deliveries retreated from 72 seen in October this year and fell 17% from the 77 handovers posted in November 2019.

Airbus did not receive any aircraft order in November, marking the fourth time since the global lockdown began in March due to the pandemic. The manufacturer has 7,302 orders yet to be fulfilled, equivalent to more than a decade of production at current depressed rates.#
