FLORIDAThe American aviation services provider Willis Lease Finance has issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the acquisition of 30 turboprop aircraft, including DHC-8-Q400s, ATR42-500s, and ATR72-500s.

The Florida-based lessor focused on leasing engines said that it would expect the planes to deliver by the end of the second quarter of 2021. However, preferably it would receive them already by the end of January 2021. The lessor prefers offers for airframes only, although airframes with engines are also acceptable. The turboprops subject to the issued RFP would be younger than 20 years and have more than two years remaining until the next heavy maintenance check. Willis Lease Finance said that it would favor bids for aircraft with unserviceable engines.

Bidders should submit their offers until December 18, 2020.

Willis Lease Finance Corporation is a provider of aviation services, specializing in leasing spare commercial aircraft engines and other aircraft-related equipment to commercial airlines, aircraft engine manufacturers, and maintenance, repair, and overhaul facilities worldwide.#
