KARACHI Pakistan’s newest private airline AirSial is preparing to launch with an Airbus A320 in December. Currently, the plane is on its way from the United States and will soon land in Karachi. Two more aircraft will join the new airline before year-end.

After the arrival of these planes, AirSial will finally be able to start operations. The airline’s management is planning on operating its first flight ahead of the New Year.

The carrier will start flights between Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Sialkot, and Peshawar before adding new routes to its network. AirSial is a project of members of the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry. It was apprehended in 2015 after Sialkot’s business community constructed the city’s airport on its own. That makes it the country’s first and only privately owned airport.#
