LUXEMBOURG - Luxembourg-based freighter operator Cargolux has taken wearing a face mask while flying to a whole new level by painting a mask onto the front of one of its Boeing 747 jumbo jets.

The Boeing 747 Freighter is one of the few that opens up at the nose, allowing for large cargo to be loaded much faster and easier. The nose of the Cargolux's Boeing 747 is now featuring face mask.

In a tweet, Cargolux said the paint job shows its commitment to the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. The message 'Not without my mask' is also painted on both sides of the aircraft. Cargolux isn't the first airline to mask one of their aircraft.

Back in May, United Airlines attached a plastic mask to the front of one of their Dreamliners, however, it was taken off before the aircraft departed for safety reasons.
