Dubai, UAE - Dubai-based low-cost operator flydubai set a new record by transporting  20,171 kg of cargo in the lower deck and the passenger cabin of a Boeing 737-800 jet.

The all-cargo flight with the airline's Boing 737-800 was flown from Kozhikode, India to Dubai. The shipment carried a mix of perishables and general cargo.

Mohammed Hassan, vice president, flydubai applauded his team’s effort in a LinkedIn post, “Breaking record by flydubai Cargo team in CCJ airport by uplifting in single flight 20,171 kgs in B737-800NG - excellent team efforts by our India team. Job well done.”
